Higher Degree Research Candidate, Western Sydney University

I am enrolled as a Higher Degree Research Candidate. My research topic is on exclusive breastfeeding and young mothers. My supervisory panel include Dr Amit Arora, Professor Gregory Kolt and Dr Debra Hector. My path to PhD

Working toward my goal to achieve a Doctorate in Health Science.


I completed my undergraduate degree in December 2015 and graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion) with Distinction in April 2016. I also received the Dean's Medal for being in the top 2% of my cohort.

Oral Presentation - National Conference

In June 2016, I gave an oral presentation at the Australian Health Promotion Association. 

Poster Presentation - International Conference

In October 2016, I had a poster presentation at the 11th International Normal Labour and Birth Conference in Sydney.

Confirmation of Candidature

I passed my Confirmation of Candidature in September 2017 and was given the green light to begin my research. It was a very hard slog getting to this point which involved many many late nights!!!
